Cherokee TOT Research

Depending on the family and how willing they were to leave, due to circumstances, research varies on how life was after the removal of Cherokees. The walk was hard, yes, but some looked at it as a fresh start away from bad memories.

    I did this question too!! :) I don't think many of the families wanted to leave thier home and have to get re-acclamtaed (sp) to the new surroundings

    But some might have thought it a better choice than being discriminated and hunted in the home town they were in.
